Mazda MX-5 Automatic 1.6 Mk2
This is a rust free example that was imported from Japan in 2009 the climate has preserved it nicely and there is no corrosion even starting in the likely places. Some people told me that insurance is more expensive for an import but it was only £145 for me and spouse with Autonet.
MOT is until August 2015 and it is taxed at the moment but with the new laws coming in will not be able to transfer tax after 1st Oct.
Overall condition is good with the odd mark here & there, the worst bit is probably the hood that is showing signs of wear at the edges, it does have a glass rear window that is heated.
The engine is very good & runs sweet it has had plenty of service history both in Japan and here in the UK.
The engine has not used a sniff if oil since I have owned it and the auto transmission changes nicely.
Extras on this car include Electric windows, Central locking, Toad Thatcham security system, ABS brakes, Twin Airbags, Electric adjustable mirriors, 2 sets of keys with remote fobs. Rear parking sensors. Kenwood CD Radio player with Aux socket. Stainless Steel roll bars. & Wind deflector.
There are no advisories on the current MOT
