Hi I"m Selling My Reliant Robin LX 1996 848CC Petrol For Parts Or Repair
The Car Is A Non- Runner as from Tuesday The 3rd Jan 2017, the engine packed up going up a hill, it made a loud rattling noise and then stopped and the car had no power. It now makes a loud rattling noise when trying to start the car, I"ve been told it could be the crank, but I"m not 100% sure so selling as a non- runner and spares .
We have had the car from Feb 2016, it has been serviced and passed the mot with no issues, we have brought a new petrol tank, had it treated and fitted which cost £300. It has had several switches replaced and recently had new front brakes and the radiator has been flushed which cost £180. We have receipts for the work completed. The car has several marks and scratches due to its age and general wear and tear. The windscreen seal on the front used to leak in but has been repaired with sealant temporarily, the passenger side window winds down at an angle , it does not come down straight with the window bar, it may need a new rubber.
The gear box and clutch have been working fine with no problems, the car has started first time since we have had it until 3rd Jan 2017.
